About the position

The Salesforce Field Service Cloud Developer Specialist at Accenture is responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business processes and application requirements. This role involves collaborating with project teams to analyze client requirements and develop custom solutions using Salesforce and Field Service functionality. The position requires strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deliver quality work on time, along with effective communication skills to build rapport with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients and senior analysts to gather business requirements.
  • Design, build, and configure applications to meet business processes and application requirements.
  • Develop custom and out-of-the-box solutions using Salesforce and Field Service functionality (APEX, SOQL, Lightning Component/Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and declarative tools such as Field Service mobile flows).
  • Participate in the software development life cycle from requirements analysis to deployment.
  • Provide documentation for reference/maintenance.
  • Implement solutions using standard methodology and participate in peer code reviews and unit testing.
  • Support post-deployment activities including knowledge transfer, process documentation, and application bug fixes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of Salesforce Field Service development experience.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Field Service software or business practices.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Cloud based Field Service solutions.
  • Experience in Salesforce.com implementations.
  • Prior experience as a team member of successful software project implementations related to Service Cloud, Service Power or ServiceMax.
  • Experience in a consulting organization.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
