About the position

The Salesforce Financial Services Functional Lead (Field Service Cloud) at Accenture is a senior-level role focused on leading and facilitating client engagements in the financial services sector. This position requires a blend of technical expertise in Salesforce, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage client relationships effectively. The role involves overseeing project scopes, providing architectural guidance, and mentoring junior team members while ensuring successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate discovery and scoping sessions with clients.
  • Define optimal project scope and expectations considering client constraints.
  • Create and defend solution estimates and Statements of Work (SOW).
  • Design solutions incorporating past experiences and creative thinking.
  • Coordinate with Technical Architects and other consultants for technical design requirements.
  • Manage client expectations and guide towards successful outcomes.
  • Disseminate best practices on solution positioning and delivery.
  • Provide architectural oversight throughout the project.
  • Guide project teams on implementation approaches and complex configuration issues.
  • Participate in QA checkpoints to ensure alignment with original scope.
  • Develop and validate estimates to support Change Orders.
  • Contribute to estimating and SOW templates for future phases.
  • Lead business and functional requirements definition and prioritization.
  • Map functional requirements to Salesforce.com features and functionality.
  • Maintain communication with the customer throughout each project.
  • Mentor junior team members in business analysis and project management.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience supporting Financial Services clients.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Field Service.
  • 3 years of progressive experience in solutioning, discovery, business analysis, project management, and technology implementation in full life-cycle CRM engagements.
  • 3 years of experience with Salesforce.com is required.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years).
  • If Associate's Degree, must have a minimum of 6 years work experience.
