About the position

As a Sr. Architect in our Salesforce practice, you will be responsible for engineering, architecting, and delivering world-class solutions for our customers, producing enterprise standard implementations using the platform's full capabilities, and leading delivery teams to deliver high-quality solutions on Salesforce.com. You will be responsible for providing tailored solutions involving complex UX/UI, real-time and batch integrations, watertight security, and custom automation. This role will require you to work closely with clients and internal teams to act as domain experts and drive the design of practical and innovative solutions across various industries. You will be expected to communicate clearly and confidently, leading technical briefings and business requirements gathering sessions. In this position, you will provide technical consultation on various aspects of the product and solutions based on the customer's business requirements. You will create, manage, and present an actionable Business Requirements Document (BRD) and Functional Specification Document (FSD) that aligns a customer's technical business needs with Salesforce Solutions. You will also be responsible for designing and architecting the solution and development part with the help of development teams for large-scale customers. Your expertise will be crucial in leading functional and technical workshops, demonstrating leadership skills in designing, delivering, testing, and deploying solutions. You will develop design documents and artifacts, and serve as a trusted advisor to the client, driving conversations with their Enterprise Architects and business stakeholders that shape the architectural vision and establish a program architectural roadmap. Additionally, you will manage customer expectations, negotiate solutions to sophisticated problems with both the customer and third-party partners, and guide our customers, partners, and implementation teams on how best to implement digital transformation with the Salesforce platform using Salesforce Industries. You will establish trust with the customer's leadership, promoting and/or implementing best practices with Salesforce Field Service and directly with clients to design technology solutions that meet client needs. Highlighting and managing risk areas in the solution in a proactive manner and committing to seeing an issue through to completion will also be part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical consultation on various aspects of the product and solutions based on the customer's business requirements.
  • Create, manage, and present an actionable BRD/FSD (Blueprint) that aligns a customer's technical business needs to that of Salesforce Solutions.
  • Design and architect the solution and development part with the help of development for large-scale customers.
  • Lead functional and technical workshops, demonstrating leadership skills in designing, delivering, testing, and deploying solutions.
  • Develop design documents and artifacts.
  • Prepare User Journeys, conduct User Story reviews, and engage in Data Modeling, Apex Design Patterns, LWC, and other modern UI techniques.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the client, driving conversations with their Enterprise Architects and business stakeholders.
  • Manage customer expectations and negotiate solutions to sophisticated problems with both the customer and third-party partners.
  • Guide customers, partners, and implementation teams on how best to implement digital transformation with the Salesforce platform.
  • Establish trust with the customer's leadership and promote best practices with Salesforce Field Service.
  • Highlight and manage risk areas in the solution proactively.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in developing technology solutions.
  • 3+ years of experience in implementing Salesforce FSL solutions by handling client-facing projects in positions of increasing responsibility.
  • Extensive experience working in field service environments, specifically with Field Service Lightning.
  • Expertise in one or multiple of Sales/Service/Experience Cloud.
  • Salesforce Certified Field Service Consultant certification is required.
  • Preferred Salesforce Certifications include Admin, Developer, Sales, and Service Clouds, Application Architect.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with complex UX/UI design.
  • Knowledge of real-time and batch integrations.
  • Familiarity with security best practices in Salesforce.
