About the position

The Salesforce Government Cloud Architect will be responsible for architecting and designing solutions for Salesforce Government Cloud, focusing on sales and service processes. This role involves leading technical discussions, creating architecture diagrams, conducting data migration analysis, and providing design guidance to ensure successful implementation of Salesforce solutions. The architect will also document solutions, troubleshoot performance issues, and guide technical teams through the development and deployment phases.

Responsibilities

• Architect and provide detailed design for setting up Sales and service process in Salesforce Government Cloud.
• Drive application architecture design discussions and reviews, creating application architecture diagrams.
• Conduct Salesforce components and data migration discovery and create detailed gap analysis documents.
• Participate in requirement discussions and provide design guidance to support development of to-be requirements.
• Perform technical feasibility of identified requirements and propose solution design.
• Document solution and interface designs, ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Lead technical teams through the build, test, and deployment of the solution.
• Troubleshoot and recommend solutions for system performance and integration issues.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience working with business/IT groups and technical teams to design and manage solutions on the Force.com platform.
• 6+ years of experience implementing enterprise-level projects in Salesforce.com/Force.com platform.
• 3+ years as a Salesforce Architect developing solution designs for Salesforce implementation projects.
• 2+ years of Salesforce Government Cloud experience as an Architect or Lead.
• Must be a US citizen due to ITAR restrictions.
• Salesforce.com Developer (PD2) and Architect Certifications.

Nice-to-haves

• Expertise in creating custom user interfaces with Visualforce and developing custom business logic in APEX.
• Great understanding of all Salesforce.com and Force.com features and related Salesforce.com product offerings.
• Dev-501, Sales and Service Cloud Consultant Certification is appreciated.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups.
