About the position

Insight Global is seeking an experienced instructional designer specializing in Salesforce training. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in Salesforce, particularly with its core functionalities such as Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. A deep understanding of Salesforce customization, configuration, and automation capabilities is essential for this role. The instructional designer will be responsible for leveraging Salesforce to streamline business processes, enhance customer relationship management, and drive sales effectiveness. In addition to Salesforce expertise, familiarity with Trailhead, Salesforce's interactive learning platform, is crucial. The instructional designer should be adept at navigating Trailhead modules, trails, and projects to effectively utilize its resources in designing engaging and impactful training programs. Practical experience in completing Trailhead modules, earning badges, and staying updated on new Salesforce features and releases through Trailhead will be valuable for creating relevant training content. The role involves conducting needs assessments to analyze the organization's training requirements, designing structured curricula that cover essential topics related to Sales and Service Cloud functionalities, and developing engaging training materials such as presentations, guides, quizzes, and simulations. The instructional designer will also create storyboards outlining the training program's flow, apply sound instructional design principles, develop assessments to evaluate learners' understanding, and gather feedback from current Salesforce users to continuously improve the training content. Collaboration with subject matter experts on Salesforce and Trailhead is necessary to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the training materials. Additionally, the instructional designer will provide support to trainers during training sessions and evaluate the effectiveness of the training program through assessments and surveys.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a thorough analysis of the organization's training requirements, focusing on users interacting with Sales and Service Cloud.
• Design a structured curriculum covering essential topics related to Sales and Service Cloud functionalities, tailored to the organization's processes and goals.
• Develop engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, guides, quizzes, and simulations.
• Create a storyboard outlining the flow of the training program, including the sequence of topics, activities, assessments, and learning objectives.
• Apply sound instructional design principles to create effective and engaging learning experiences that cater to different learning styles.
• Develop assessments and quizzes to evaluate learners' understanding of the material and track their progress throughout the training program.
• Gather feedback from current Salesforce users and stakeholders to continuously improve the training content and delivery methods.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts on Salesforce and Trailhead to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the training content.
• Provide support to trainers in delivering training sessions, including guidance on best practices and troubleshooting technical issues.

Requirements

• Strong background and experience in working with Salesforce and Trailhead.
• Proficiency in Salesforce, including understanding of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Experience in using Salesforce to streamline business processes and improve customer relationship management.
• Deep understanding of Trailhead and its resources for designing training programs.
• Ability to conduct needs assessments and analyze training requirements.
