About the position

Kforce has a client in Juno Beach, FL that is seeking a self-driven, versatile Salesforce Technical Engineer to join their dynamic team. The selected candidate will provide pivotal leadership in the development and support of our Salesforce CRM platform. This role is crucial for ensuring that the Salesforce systems are effectively designed, implemented, and maintained to meet the business needs of the organization. The Salesforce Technical Engineer will be responsible for leading a team of Salesforce developers, facilitating knowledge sharing and skill enhancement among team members. This position requires a deep understanding of business requirements to develop effective Salesforce and middleware integration solutions, ensuring that the systems are robust and perform optimally. The Salesforce Technical Engineer will manage the complete lifecycle of the Salesforce systems, which includes design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation. Regular monitoring of system integrations is essential to ensure their robustness and optimal performance. The role also involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts, Quality Assurance, Project Managers, and Operations, to ensure that all aspects of the Salesforce platform are aligned with business objectives. Staying current with the latest advancements in Salesforce integrations and middleware technologies is vital, as the engineer will be expected to implement these learnings when appropriate. Additionally, the engineer will lead the execution of large-scale projects, ensuring adherence to timeline and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce developers, facilitating knowledge sharing and skill enhancement.
  • Analyze and understand business requirements to develop effective Salesforce and middleware integration solutions.
  • Manage complete lifecycle of the Salesforce systems - from design, coding, testing to debugging and documentation.
  • Monitor system integrations regularly to ensure their robustness and optimal performance.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts, Quality Assurance, Project Managers, and Operations.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in Salesforce integrations and middleware technologies, and implement these learnings when appropriate.
  • Lead the execution of large-scale projects, ensuring adherence to timeline and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Salesforce development and middleware integrations.
  • Hold Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I & II, Integration Architecture Designer, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in leading technical teams.
  • Excellent understanding of Salesforce architecture, API services, and system integrations.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Expertise in middleware technologies and integration tools such as MuleSoft, Jitterbit, Dell Boomi, and others.
  • Hands-on experience in Salesforce integrations with middleware systems using web services, REST API, and/or SOAP API.
  • Able to learn new technologies rapidly and implement them in the system as required.
  • Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies is a plus.
