About the position

The Salesforce Lead Developer position is a permanent role based in Newark, California, focused on software development and programming design within the Salesforce ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Salesforce technologies, particularly in Lightning, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud, and will be responsible for leading development efforts, integrating Salesforce with other platforms, and providing thought leadership in SaaS solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead software development and programming design in Salesforce.
  • Configure and develop Salesforce Lightning components.
  • Implement and develop solutions using Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • Integrate Salesforce with multiple platforms and technologies.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership in SaaS solutions and technologies.
  • Develop strong SaaS solutions focused on Salesforce.com.
  • Understand and manage Salesforce communities.
  • Utilize Salesforce programming languages including APEX, Force.com, and VisualForce.
  • Engage with key business functional areas such as ERP, CRM, and SCM.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Analyze business needs and provide solutions.
  • Collaborate positively and creatively within a team.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of direct experience in software development and/or programming design and systems management.
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning (Configuration and Development).
  • Experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS solutions development and implementation focused on Salesforce.com.
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce programming including APEX, Force.com, and VisualForce.
  • Detailed understanding of Salesforce Lightning Platform and development of lightning components.
  • Experience with integrations between Salesforce and other platforms.
  • Strong client-facing communication skills.
  • Strong business analytical skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to team dynamics.
  • Salesforce.com Certification is a plus.
