About the position

The Lead Architect of Manufacturing Cloud at Slalom will play a pivotal role in supporting the Salesforce partnership and leading a team focused on consulting within the manufacturing industry. This position is designed for a results-driven leader who will innovate and accelerate the growth of the Salesforce practice, ensuring the delivery of world-class solutions that leverage various enterprise platforms and technologies. The role involves collaboration with global and local teams to enhance market strategies and operational practices, while also focusing on talent management and business development.

Responsibilities

  • Grow the Global Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud capability through business development and talent management.
  • Maximize team performance to increase productivity and job satisfaction.
  • Manage engagement risk related to sustainability projects and project economics.
  • Lead procurements (RFPs) involving multiple Slalom practices and partners.
  • Ensure practice exceeds utilization targets of 65%.
  • Collaborate closely with the Global Manufacturing practice on growth strategies.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for complex deliveries and manage customer expectations.
  • Identify opportunities for growth in Salesforce enterprise and technical architecture offerings.
  • Build relationships with local market teams and Salesforce for joint sales pursuits.
  • Develop best practices and delivery templates for the practice.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a large consulting environment with increasing responsibility.
  • Experience with the Salesforce core (force.com) tech stack and related cloud technologies.
  • Passion for the manufacturing domain and solutions.
  • Experience in building relationships with Salesforce sales and partner teams.
  • Deep experience in business development and managing client relationships.
  • Expertise in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies for project delivery.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong mentoring and leadership abilities.
