About the position

We are seeking a hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Administrator with a strong background in financial services to support our marketing and corporate communications teams. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our MarTech technical landscape, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about technology and its impact on business growth. The ideal candidate will have experience in marketing automation, data management, and API integration with third-party platforms. A solid understanding of customer engagement strategies and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams is essential. You will report directly to the Application Development Team Lead, and your contributions will be vital in developing strategic solutions and supporting new technology implementations. In this role, you will be responsible for administering and maintaining the SFMC platform, ensuring optimal performance, security, access, and reliability. You will guide and support users in the creation, execution, and optimization of single and omni-channel journey orchestration. Managing and segmenting customer data for targeted marketing efforts while ensuring data accuracy and compliance with privacy regulations will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will also create and analyze reports to measure campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Additionally, overseeing the integration of SFMC with other systems and platforms, including CRM, DAM, and CMS, will be part of your daily tasks. Providing technical support and training to marketing and corporate communications teams, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and staying up-to-date with SFMC features and best practices will be crucial for continuous improvement in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain the SFMC platform, ensuring optimal performance, security, access, and reliability.
  • Guide and support users in the creation, execution, and optimization of single/omni-channel journey orchestration.
  • Manage and segment customer data for targeted marketing efforts, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Create and analyze reports to measure campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Oversee the integration of SFMC with other systems and platforms, including CRM, DAM, and CMS.
  • Provide technical support and training to marketing and corporate communications teams, addressing any platform-related issues or inquiries.
  • Ensure all marketing activities comply with industry regulations and company policies, particularly regarding data privacy and security.
  • Stay up-to-date with SFMC features and best practices, recommending and implementing enhancements to improve platform use.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget) Administrator.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Social Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio).
  • Ability to plan work of self and others and resolve technical and other problems.
  • Experience with off-hours production support as needed.
  • Experience with Datorama.
  • Basic HTML skills (e.g., creating tables, links, and bolding).
  • Experience with AMP script and SQL.
  • Digital marketing experience.
  • Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Experience with MuleSoft/Azure API framework is desired but not required.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related discipline.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (e.g., Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Consultant).
