About the position

The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Data Manager at MetroPlusHealth is responsible for modernizing the marketing department through digital transformation. This role focuses on optimizing Salesforce Marketing Cloud to enhance brand reach, customer targeting, and marketing efficiency. The Data Manager will manage and analyze marketing data, create insightful reports, and collaborate with various teams to optimize campaigns and drive customer engagement, ensuring data quality and consistency throughout the process.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and organize data from various sources to ensure accuracy and readiness for analysis.
  • Prepare and manage data extensions to structure and store data effectively within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Implement automation workflows for lead and customer engagement.
  • Evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns by analyzing key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates.
  • Identify trends and patterns in customer behavior to inform marketing strategies and improve engagement.
  • Develop and maintain detailed reports and dashboards to present findings to stakeholders.
  • Use data to segment audiences for targeted and personalized marketing efforts.
  • Recommend and implement changes to improve campaign performance based on data insights.
  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data and that messages are fired off correctly and on time.
  • Develop personalized customer experiences using data insights to tailor content and messaging.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to understand their needs and provide data-driven solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Certification in Salesforce Marketing Cloud required.
  • 5 years' experience in marketing technology, with 1-2 years' experience in data manipulation, interpretation, report writing, or data insight summarization.
  • Proven experience managing data and campaigns using Marketing Cloud.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive decision-making and campaign optimization.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in designing and managing data structures.
  • Proficiency in creating data models to represent complex data relationships.
  • Strong skills in SQL for querying and managing databases.
  • Knowledge of AMPScript, SSJS (Server-Side JavaScript), and Guide Template Language.
  • Expertise in managing and preparing data extensions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Ability to ensure data accuracy and handle duplicate management.
