About the position

The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Product Owner is responsible for advocating for business needs within the organization and ensuring alignment with Salesforce solutions. This role involves managing and executing a Salesforce digital roadmap to enhance employee and customer experiences, promote customer satisfaction, and drive revenue growth. The Product Owner will standardize capabilities across various lines of business and collaborate with other Product Owners to establish common processes and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Define product features from a solution perspective and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Create and maintain a prioritized product backlog, incorporating feedback from business stakeholders.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and define detailed product requirements.
  • Break down product requirements into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Coordinate with other Product Owners and the release manager to ensure efficient release planning.
  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and development teams, ensuring clear communication of product goals and features.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of architecture, functionality, and data processes.
  • Manage time effectively to research new features and understand business needs.
  • Develop strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand priorities and communicate status of work in progress.
  • Apply cross-functional subject matter expertise to facilitate continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Analyze data, risks, impacts, and priorities to meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate on user documentation and conduct Salesforce product research.
  • Engage with business users regularly to gather insights and feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Fluency in writing and speaking in English.
  • Strong decision-making skills to prioritize features based on business value.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize the Salesforce platform.
  • Understanding of UX principles to ensure user-friendly platform design.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL and Excel.
