The Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Tech Lead Developer plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical solutions within the Marketing teams. This position is centered around the Salesforce Marketing Cloud automation platform, where the developer is expected to deliver high-quality technical solutions that empower marketing initiatives. The role requires a deep understanding of front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as a solid grasp of SQL for data manipulation and reporting. The developer will also utilize AMPscript, Salesforce's proprietary scripting language, to create dynamic content for various marketing channels including email, SMS, and push notifications. In this role, the developer will be responsible for direct technical development using a variety of tools and technologies including AMPscript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SOAP/REST APIs, Email Studio, Automation Studio, Journey Builder, and Mobile Studio. The developer will conduct moderate A/B tests to evaluate and enhance client communications, ensuring that all email builds are of high quality and deliverability. Additionally, the developer will support transactional email journeys and share best practices with business teams to optimize email development and deployment processes. Reporting on email performance and providing basic analysis to business teams will also be a key responsibility. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of direct experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Email Studio, Mobile Push, and Journey Builder, along with a strong background in email coding and campaign execution. Familiarity with responsive design and a client-facing customer service experience are also essential. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration abilities, making it suitable for both team-oriented and independent work environments.
