About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Technical Architect to join our team in Warren, NJ. This role involves providing technical leadership on client projects, including platform migrations, new implementations, and support engagements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing complex enterprise solutions that meet business needs and align with the overall IT strategy.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on client projects including platform migrations, new implementations, and support engagements.
• Gather and refine requirements/user stories to translate business objectives into technical tasks.
• Respond to technical questions in RFPs and help sales and account teams deliver successful proposals.
• Engage with clients to gather and document requirements for data model and marketing campaigns.
• Consult with Front End Developer on implementation of email templates and AMPScript development.
• Collaborate with architects from other workstreams on code architecture, reviews, and CI/CD workflows.
• Give direction to developers on operational decisions.
• Provide technical leadership for delivering projects within constraints, goals, budgets and timelines.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, SMEs, and other architects to develop roadmaps for marketing automation & technology implementations.

Requirements

• 8+ years' experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• 3+ years' experience as technical architect in SFMC projects
• Experience in leading engagements end to end, providing solutions leadership, content and governance to consulting initiatives and projects
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator and/or Consultant certification(s)
• Expertise in campaign orchestration, lifecycle programs and personalization
• Experience in SQL and AMPScript
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Digital Marketing, or related field
