About the position

As a Salesforce Platform Architect at Cognizant, you will serve as a subject matter expert, collaborating with clients and internal teams to design innovative solutions tailored to various industries. This role emphasizes clear communication, leadership in technical briefings, and the ability to gather business requirements effectively. You will be responsible for architecting solutions, managing development processes, and ensuring alignment with customer needs through hands-on development and consultation.

Responsibilities

• Lead functional and technical workshops.
• Demonstrate leadership skills in designing, delivering, testing, and deploying solutions.
• Create, manage, and present actionable Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Specification Documents (FSD).
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, driving conversations with enterprise architects and business stakeholders.
• Manage customer expectations and negotiate solutions to complex problems.
• Guide customers and implementation teams on executing digital transformation with Salesforce.
• Develop sophisticated business processes using Salesforce Industries technology and integration tools.
• Highlight and manage risk areas in the solution proactively.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in developing technology solutions.
• 3+ years of experience in client-facing projects in systems development and business consulting.
• Expertise in Sales/Service/Experience Cloud Integration Architecture.
• Excellent understanding of the Salesforce Platform and best practices.
• Experience with Identity and Access Management, Integration Security, and Data Architecture.
• Proficiency in Salesforce/Apex, Triggers, Lightning Flows, and modern web technologies.
