About the position

The Salesforce QA Analyst at Ergon, Inc. is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of the Salesforce platform by defining, reviewing, and executing test cases. This role involves close collaboration with software developers and business analysts to understand the technical design of applications and ensure their testability. The position plays a vital role in maintaining high standards of quality in the company's Salesforce applications, contributing to a relationship-driven company that values employee growth and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
• Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and technical specifications.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, performance, and UAT testing of Salesforce applications.
• Document test results, track defects, and work closely with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on testing objectives and priorities.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Identify opportunities to streamline testing processes and improve testing efficiency.
• Stay current with Salesforce platform updates and industry best practices.
• Work with business functional leads to develop UAT test scripts and assist in executing and recording test results.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Salesforce, preferably Sales Cloud & Service Cloud.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Ability to perform functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with automated testing tools.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security model.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
• Salesforce Administrator certifications (e.g., Administrator, Advanced Administrator).
