About the position

The Salesforce QA Engineer position at NTT DATA is a remote role focused on ensuring the quality and effectiveness of digital technology and services built for clients. The role involves building automation frameworks for end-to-end testing, integrating various automation systems, and driving test practices within the team. The engineer will be responsible for diagnosing quality issues, communicating risks, and executing testing with complex data shapes, all while adhering to agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Build Automation frameworks for End to End Testing of different systems
• Integrate different Automation frameworks
• Build Automation frameworks that can interact with boundary systems such as Oracle
• Write clear and concise test documents and automation scripts
• Build test cases and execute testing with complex data shape
• Familiar with DEVOPs tools like Jenkins and able to build pipeline from scratch
• Create UI/API end-to-end cross-cloud impacting, integration automation
• Drive test practices within the team
• Organize and drive cross product testing
• Diagnose, track and manage quality issues to resolution
• Effectively communicate status and risk to the team and manager
• Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
• Deliver engineering applications using agile/scrum methodology

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance processes, methodologies, and best practices
• 5+ years experience developing on the Salesforce.com platform & API
• 5+ years of experience with software development and quality engineering, Selenium, Karate Framework, system-level testing and End to End Testing
• 5+ years experience using API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI
• 5+ years of experience using SOAP UI for WebServices automation
• 5+ years experience with Multiple Automation frameworks like Keyword, Data driven and Hybrid
• 5+ Expertise in Core Java programming, strong in OOPS Concepts and collection framework
• Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, Ant, Maven, or other similar technologies
• 5+ years experience with test automation tools for functional, regression, performance and load testing
• 5+ years experience using Selenium or any of the Open-Source Automation Frameworks and unit testing frameworks such as TestNG, J-Unit and/or scripting language like JS, Perl

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in multi-platform testing (Windows, UNIX, LINUX)
• Background with Force.com (Apex and Visualforce), Java and an understanding of Javascript, CSS, SOAP XML, and HTML
• Experience with Salesforce Quote to Cash Process
• Participate in product and feature design with technical staff, product members
• Excellent cross-group communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience with J2EE Technologies (e.g. JSP, Servlets, EJB, WebServices, SOA)
• Experience in testing and/or developing Enterprise Integration Systems and Financial applications
