About the position

The Salesforce QA Engineer at the American Red Cross is responsible for ensuring the quality of software releases by establishing test automation best practices and maintaining automated test infrastructure. This role involves close collaboration with Salesforce developers and admins to deliver stable, tested code to production, while also performing various testing activities including User Acceptance Testing and API Testing. The position is fully remote, allowing the selected candidate to work from anywhere in the United States, with a preference for an East Coast schedule.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, maintain, and enhance test plans, test scripts, and test methodologies to ensure compliance with system specifications.
• Perform in-depth investigations into data quality issues and suggest solutions to improve data accuracy.
• Work closely with software developers to develop test specifications and build test cases for product functionality testing.
• Verify and validate defect fixes and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Conduct API Testing, Accessibility testing, and Mobile application testing.
• Document test results, analysis reports, logs, and metrics.
• Develop and execute automated regression test suites.
• Identify opportunities for effective automation implementation.

Requirements

• 4-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in QA engineering, specifically with Salesforce testing.
• Experience with test automation and tools like Selenium, Provar, and Copado Robotic Testing.
• Familiarity with Jira, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to work extended hours/on-call support as needed.
