About the position

The Salesforce Data Architect will be part of the US Region Analytics & Insights Marketing Research Team within BD's Commercial & Customer Operations organization. This role focuses on driving solutions in Salesforce reporting and data engineering, ensuring data integrity, and providing actionable insights to enhance sales performance and customer experience. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop advanced analytics solutions and manage multiple projects effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, development, and maintenance of USR sales data pipelines.
  • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and availability of data across the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure master data alignment.
  • Develop and implement advanced analytics solutions, including predictive analytics and machine learning models.
  • Influence the design and development of dashboards, reports, and visualizations for stakeholders.
  • Partner with teams to identify requirements and establish key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Promote a data-driven culture across the organization.
  • Manage multiple data engineering and analytics projects simultaneously.
  • Oversee the procurement and implementation of data platforms and tools.
  • Develop and monitor project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a science or business discipline.
  • 3 years of Salesforce experience.
  • Experience with Direct and Channel sales ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with the full sales cycle, from lead to cash.
  • Experience with querying in SQL and familiarity with Machine Learning and ETL.
  • Experience in enterprise reporting solutions, preferably in healthcare.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI in development and reporting solutions.
  • Comfortable in Agile methodologies, QA procedures, and UAT.
  • Strong presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with visualization reporting tools.
  • Highly proficient in Excel, Database development (MS Access, SQL, Oracle), and Data Mining tools.
  • Deep understanding of data relations, data standardization, and analytics.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of data warehousing principles and dimensional models.
  • Salesforce Administrator 201 Certification.
