About the position

As a Salesforce consulting generalist at PwC, you will provide consulting services to clients, helping them optimize operational efficiency through the implementation of Salesforce applications. This role involves analyzing client needs, delivering software solutions, and offering training and support for effective utilization of these applications. You will leverage your consulting skills and experience to act as a strategic advisor, guiding clients towards achieving their strategic objectives while fostering high-performing, diverse, and inclusive teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client needs and implement software solutions for Salesforce applications.
• Provide training and support for effective utilization of Salesforce applications.
• Act as a strategic advisor to clients, helping them achieve their operational efficiency goals.
• Motivate and coach team members to solve complex problems collaboratively.
• Apply sound judgment to determine when to take action and when to escalate issues.
• Communicate clearly and effectively, conveying impactful messages that tell a holistic story.
• Direct teams through complex situations, demonstrating composure in ambiguity.
• Initiate open and honest coaching conversations at all levels.
• Make difficult decisions to resolve issues hindering team effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• 7 years of consulting experience with proven technical and functional expertise in Finance and Accounting functions.
• Proven knowledge of accounting systems/GL integration, billing systems, or revenue recognition.
• Experience in the Quote-to-Cash domain, particularly in Quote & Order Management, Billing, Invoicing & Collections, and Revenue Accounting and Automation.
• Experience working on at least 3 projects from design through go-live on platforms like Zuora, Apttus/Conga, Salesforce Revenue Cloud, etc.
• Deep understanding of transactional, recurring, consumption-based, subscription, and project-based monetization models.
• Leadership abilities to guide business discussions and design choices with clients.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's Degree in Computer and Information Science, Management Information Systems, Accounting & Technology, or Supply Chain Management.
• Certifications such as Conga Billing Administrator, Zuora Billing Consultant, Salesforce Billing Specialist Superbadge, etc.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
