About the position

The Salesforce Revenue Cloud Solution Engineer will play a critical role in transforming business processes at CPI Security by leveraging the Salesforce platform. This hands-on position involves designing, building, and implementing enterprise features in Salesforce CPQ and Billing, ensuring effective integration across various organizational functions. The engineer will act as a subject matter expert, collaborating with business and IT teams to identify solutions and enhance the overall functionality of the Salesforce ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a Salesforce CPQ, Billing and Order Management technical owner and subject matter expert for CPI.
  • Meet with business and IT teams to solve problems through the Salesforce platform, identifying opportunities for solutions.
  • Design and configure changes including declarative rules, process automation, and other configurations.
  • Conduct unit testing, code reviews, and manage change processes.
  • Implement Revenue Cloud, Order Management, and CPQ features to maintain Billing and Order Management functionality.
  • Support future CPQ enhancements across various business processes from Sales to Accounting and Payroll.
  • Create and maintain Flows and other automation tools utilized by all lines of business.
  • Develop relationships with key business partners and participate in cross-functional teams to address strategic business issues.
  • Work with IT teammates to ensure all aspects of the Salesforce ecosystem function symbiotically.
  • Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, validation rules, and workflow automation.
  • Stay current with technological developments within the Salesforce platform and plan for new release functionality.
  • Promote a DevOps culture where the team owns the development and operation of their code.
  • Influence business and technology leaders to improve existing business processes using Salesforce.
  • Evaluate and install Salesforce AppExchange components and solutions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of advanced delivery experience with CPQ Price Rules, Product Rules, Approval Rules, and Summary variables.
  • 2+ years of experience with the Salesforce Revenue Cloud, including Billing and Order Management.
  • Experience in building complex Salesforce solution designs and reviewing/enhancing designs from other teammates.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce sharing and visibility, platform limits, order of execution, and data storage impacts.
  • Experience working with existing Salesforce object structure and architecting custom objects.
  • Configuration experience with Flows and Salesforce Lightning UI.
  • Experience with SQL to Salesforce integrations and data patterns.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for diverse audiences.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently or collaboratively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • Salesforce certifications in CPQ and Experience Cloud is desired.
