About the position

The Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud Architect is responsible for leading the design and implementation of Salesforce solutions, specifically focusing on Sales and Service Cloud. This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, integration, and data management, particularly within the banking and financial services sector. The architect will work closely with stakeholders to define system landscapes, identify gaps, and deliver effective CRM solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud solutions.
• Define the system landscape and identify gaps between current and desired end-states.
• Deliver effective CRM solutions tailored to business needs.
• Oversee Salesforce org merges, integration, and data quality/migration design.
• Develop software components with a strong focus on Service Oriented Architecture and integration.
• Implement new instances of Salesforce.com from scratch, including configuration and customization.
• Utilize Salesforce integration tools to connect different business systems.
• Communicate effectively with executive stakeholders and participate in workshops with IT and business teams.

Requirements

• Mandatory sales, service, and architect certifications.
• Implementation expertise in Sales and Service Cloud.
• Experience in Salesforce org merge, integration, and data quality/migration design.
• Strong experience in designing and developing software components with a focus on Service Oriented Architecture.
• End-to-end Salesforce implementation experience.
• Proficiency in programming using Salesforce SFDC, Force.com, Java, JavaScript, and XML.
• Strong practical deployment knowledge of VisualForce, Flex, Salesforce configurations, Apex classes, APEX Web services, API, and AppExchange deployment.
• Ability to define system landscapes and deliver CRM solutions.

Nice-to-haves

• Banking and financial services experience is preferred.
• Programming experience with J2EE, HTML, XML, SQL, and Oracle.
