About the position

As a Salesforce Sales Cloud Developer at BILL, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the sales operations of our rapidly growing Fintech company. BILL is dedicated to automating financial processes for small and mid-size businesses, and as part of our Business Technology team, you will contribute to high-impact projects that align with our critical company objectives. Your expertise in Salesforce, particularly in Sales Cloud, will be essential in building and supporting solutions on the Salesforce.com platform. You will utilize declarative tools and development in Force.com, object-oriented programming (OOP), async processes, Lightning LWC, Apex, Web Services, and APIs to create effective solutions that meet the needs of our business and clients. In this role, you will provide technical expertise on Sales Cloud implementations and production support, identifying gaps between business needs and standard CRM application functionality. You will troubleshoot and resolve complex defects for planned releases and production issues, ensuring that our systems operate smoothly and efficiently. Additionally, you will support cross-systems and related integrations involving Salesforce and other integrated systems, such as Mulesoft, applying best practices to enhance system productivity, scaling, and monitoring. Your participation in Agile ceremonies will be vital for the successful completion of sprints, allowing you to collaborate closely with your team and stakeholders. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in Salesforce development, particularly in Sales Cloud, to join our team. Responsibilities

  • Build and support solutions on Salesforce.com platform, including declarative tools and development in Force.com, object-oriented programming (OOP), async processes, Lightning LWC, Apex, Web Services, and APIs.
  • Provide Sales Cloud technical expertise on implementations and production support.
  • Identify gaps between business needs and standard CRM application functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and fix complex defects for planned releases and production issues.
  • Support cross-systems and related integrations involving Salesforce and other integrated systems (ex. Mulesoft).
  • Apply SFDC best practices and guidelines to enhance system productivity, scaling, and monitoring.
  • Participate in all the Agile ceremonies for the successful completion of the sprint.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in Salesforce development, with 4+ years specifically in Sales Cloud.
  • Proficient in Salesforce Flow, Apex, Triggers, Lightning Components, Web Services, and Salesforce API (REST/SOAP/MetaData).
  • Familiarity with development tools like Sublime, Git, IntelliJ, or Visual Studio Code.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of Salesforce.com platform capabilities, functionalities, and limitations, particularly governor limits and best practices.
  • Usage of tools like Gearset, AutoRabit, and Copado.
