The Salesforce Sales Cloud Product Owner plays a pivotal role in advocating for business within the organization, ensuring business alignment with Salesforce solutions. This position is responsible for managing and executing a Salesforce digital roadmap across the business to bring new experiences and features to employees and customers, promoting a valued customer experience and revenue growth by closely aligning business goals with Salesforce deliverables. The goal is to standardize capabilities across lines of business (LOBs) and coordinate with other Product Owners to build a common process and RACI for engaging with the business. The Product Owner will define product features from a solution perspective, ensuring alignment with business objectives. They will create and maintain a prioritized product backlog, incorporating feedback from business stakeholders, and work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and define detailed product requirements. The role involves breaking down product requirements into user stories with clear acceptance criteria, coordinating with other Product Owners and the release manager to ensure efficient releases, and acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and development teams. The Product Owner will also define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the product and drive data-driven decision-making. In addition, the Product Owner will be responsible for ensuring comprehensive documentation of the architecture, functionality, and data consumed and transformed. They will manage their time effectively to research new features and functionality of the relevant Cloud environment, develop strong working relationships with business stakeholders, and support the business by applying cross-functional subject matter expertise to facilitate continuous improvement and innovation. The role may require up to 10% travel, and the Product Owner will also conduct Salesforce product research and engage with business users to understand their needs better.
