About the position

The Salesforce SFI (Vlocity) Telco Architect at Capgemini is responsible for the strategic functional design and delivery of Salesforce solutions to clients, particularly in the telecommunications sector. This role involves coordinating with project managers, overseeing business analysts, and leading a team of architects to ensure successful project execution. The architect will also create key documentation and develop training materials, leveraging extensive Salesforce experience and technical expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of high-level strategic functional design and delivery of solutions to clients.
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager during project setup, onboarding, and planning activities.
  • Oversee Business Analysts gathering business requirements and translate them into a technical solution.
  • Work with offshore teams for solution architecture, work prioritization, effort estimations, and guiding developers with technical solutions and best practices.
  • Create key architecture documentation and deliverables.
  • Lead a team of architects as needed to drive end-to-end solution delivery, taking full responsibility for Salesforce.com solutions.
  • Develop Train-the-Trainer materials.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of Salesforce implementation experience (at least 4 as a Solution Architect).
  • Salesforce Architect certification or working toward certification.
  • Experience in Omni Studio (Omniscripts, Data Raptors, Integration Procedures).
  • Experience in Communications cloud.
  • Knowledge in Vlocity (SFI) CPQ.
  • End-to-end business architecture and supporting technical components for at least 3 Salesforce projects.
  • Significant consulting/client-facing background.
  • Systems design experience, with the ability to design or explain complex systems interactions including data flows, common interfaces, APIs and other methods.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce and third-party applications integration.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills to speak and present to the client.
