At Workday, we are seeking a Salesforce Solution Architect to join our Business Technology, Go-To-Market Qualify team in Pleasanton, CA. This role is pivotal in guiding the technical aspects of IT architecture, design, and implementation, particularly in relation to Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Salesforce and a passion for finding creative solutions to complex problems. You will work closely with various teams, contributing to the development of outstanding IT solutions that support our Marketing and Sales organizations. In this position, you will provide technical leadership and establish the direction for IT architecture, standards, design, and implementation approaches. You will be responsible for designing, assessing, and implementing impactful IT solutions using advanced technologies and innovative methods, including SnapLogic for integrations, Conga/Apttus for CPQ and CLM, AWS as PaaS, Coveo Search Platform, OKTA for SSO, and Reltio, among others. Your role will also involve leading or contributing to designs applied to all aspects of business systems and infrastructure prototypes, engaging in performance and integration testing, and conducting business and technical analysis. As a mentor and guide to other team members, you will share your expertise in Salesforce development, architecture, and strategies. Collaboration with business analysts and technical staff will be essential, as you will be responsible for delivering complete work products. You will also implement and deploy AppExchange products, research integration issues, and maintain current certifications on Salesforce technologies, communicating trends and future needs from both business and technical perspectives. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, supporting the solution design phases and developing innovative solutions and frameworks to address business challenges. You will maintain the overall Solution Architecture framework and direction to support Sales and Marketing, and collaborate with partners on new product evaluations and recommendations.
