As a Salesforce Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in leading and ensuring the successful delivery of Salesforce.com and other CRM implementation engagements. This position requires a deep understanding of both business and technical requirements, as you will be responsible for gathering key insights from clients and developing a comprehensive Salesforce implementation roadmap tailored to their unique needs. Your expertise will be crucial in executing and managing the delivery of end-to-end solutions, optimizing Salesforce functionality to enhance client operations. You will lead current state Salesforce assessments and optimizations, which involves hosting interview workshops across various process areas, reviewing the existing Salesforce instance, and identifying pain points and future state requirements. Your ability to develop lead-to-cash and Salesforce-specific recommendations will be essential in creating a roadmap for executing these recommendations effectively. Throughout each project, you will map functional requirements to Salesforce.com features and functionality, ensuring clear communication of solution decisions both internally and with clients. In addition to your technical skills, you will be expected to disseminate best practices on solution positioning and delivery, identify risks that may threaten project success, and recommend effective workarounds. You will also support pre-sales activities, participate in sales calls, and contribute to proposal development. As a leader in the Salesforce practice, you will help shape its direction and educate both internal and external audiences on Salesforce best practices.
