The Salesforce Solutions Architect at ANSYS Inc. plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation. This position is designed for a professional who can partner with product owners and business stakeholders to translate their needs into actionable designs and blueprints that can be utilized by technical and integration architects, as well as developers. The architect will be responsible for supporting various Salesforce capabilities, including Salesforce CPQ, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud. This role requires a deep understanding of these platforms and their integrated systems, enabling the architect to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and design scalable solutions that prioritize simplicity. In this role, the Salesforce Solutions Architect will be expected to research and implement advanced technologies and best practices within the Salesforce ecosystem. The architect will drive design decisions, ensuring that all solutions align with the Enterprise Architecture guidelines. This includes documenting design decisions, processes, and workflows for the development team, as well as participating in Agile methodologies such as sprint planning and daily standups to address any blockers and make informed technical decisions. The architect will also be responsible for writing and maintaining user stories related to technical architecture, data migrations, and data flows, providing expertise to application development teams to overcome technical challenges. The position requires a proactive approach to analyzing current technologies and identifying opportunities for improvement. The Salesforce Solutions Architect will work closely with infrastructure and cybersecurity teams to ensure that all project dependencies are accounted for, while also collaborating with product owners to prioritize the backlog effectively. The architect will need to manage potential project challenges, including risks, timelines, resources, and scope, while providing detailed specifications for proposed solutions and defining clear goals for project execution.
