About the position

The Salesforce Solutions Architect will act as a trusted advisor to the client's Work & Asset Management project team, engaging directly with both technical and business stakeholders to understand requirements, analyze information, and develop comprehensive recommendations and solutions that align with business goals and Salesforce best practices. The architect's primary responsibility will be to recommend and design robust Salesforce solutions for a utilities client, particularly within the Energy & Utilities Cloud. The architect will evaluate trade-offs in various solutions, ensuring scalability, minimizing technical debt, and preventing the need for manual changes over time. As a functional and technical team leader, the Salesforce Solution Architect will translate business needs into a technical vision that low code or pro code builders can execute. The role involves designing the organizational strategy, data model, identity and access solutions, data and process integrations, and handling large data volumes with a focus on data privacy. The architect will also build and support proofs-of-concept (POCs) and serve as the final escalation point for design/build decisions, providing innovative solutions. Their role as an influencer requires them to build buy-in for new solutions while communicating effectively with all stakeholders.
