About the position

The Salesforce Solutions Architect will serve as a trusted advisor to the client's Work & Asset Management project team, focusing on designing and recommending robust Salesforce solutions tailored for the Energy & Utilities Cloud. This role involves engaging with both technical and business stakeholders to understand requirements, analyze data, and develop comprehensive solutions that align with business goals and Salesforce best practices. The architect will lead the technical vision, ensuring scalability and minimizing technical debt while translating business needs into actionable technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and business stakeholders to understand the company’s vision and requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
• Participate in business solution design sessions to identify pain points and business objectives.
• Manipulate, analyze, and interpret complex data sets related to the client’s business needs.
• Act as the technical point of contact for client stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and a deep understanding of systems and requirements.
• Assist teams in preparing and delivering technical demonstrations, showcasing the value and functionality of proposed solutions.
• Work closely with the project team during the development lifecycle to verify requirements, data mapping, solution design, and defect analysis.
• Stay updated on Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, making implementation and change management recommendations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect, particularly with the Energy & Utilities Cloud.
• Proven ability to gather requirements and transform data to meet business specifications.
• Experience troubleshooting and investigating production issues with effective resolution recommendations.
• Proficiency in listening to business requirements, documenting, and prototyping solutions.
• Experience with structured and Agile methodologies for application development, design, and maintenance.
• Strong analytical abilities to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical issues in non-technical terms to stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce products and industry best practices related to design, development, testing, business processes, workflow, reporting, and system sustainment.
• Salesforce.com Certifications (Admin, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and/or Developer).
• Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent training/experience.
