About the position

The Salesforce System Administrator at BELFOR is a proactive individual responsible for the development and continuous improvement of the Salesforce platform. This role is crucial in assisting with the implementation of the program and in designing and driving best practice solutions tailored to the business's needs. The Salesforce System Administrator will support various functions including development, continuous improvement, problem-solving, and training, while also gaining a deep understanding of the company's operations. This position requires the candidate to work in the office located in Birmingham, MI, ensuring close collaboration with team members and stakeholders. In this role, the Salesforce System Administrator will manage all aspects of user and license management, which includes setting up and deactivating user accounts, managing access, profiles, permissions, and groups. The administrator will also facilitate a ticketing system to resolve inquiries promptly, ensuring that all user issues are addressed efficiently. Additionally, the position involves leading configuration changes related to flows, fields, page layouts, record types, settings, reports, and dashboards to support the evolving business needs. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential, as the Salesforce System Administrator will work to integrate Salesforce with other systems, ensuring seamless operations across platforms. Data accuracy and integrity are paramount, and the administrator will employ proficient data management practices, including data imports, cleansing, and maintenance. Analyzing reports and data to provide actionable recommendations will also be a key responsibility. Furthermore, the role includes ensuring proper API setup and success, as well as developing and facilitating end-user training to empower staff in utilizing the Salesforce platform effectively. Other related duties may be assigned as necessary, making this a dynamic and integral position within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Support, advise, collaborate and provide input in the design and configuration of Salesforce products related to the business needs and goals.
  • Manage all aspects of user and license management including setup and deactivation, access, profiles, permissions, and groups.
  • Facilitate a ticket system and resolve all ticket inquiries promptly.
  • Lead configuration changes related to flow, fields, page layouts, record types, settings, reports and dashboards that support business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Salesforce with other systems.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity through proficient data management practices, including data imports, cleansing, and maintenance.
  • Analyze reports and data to provide recommendations.
  • Ensure proper API setup and success.
  • Develop and facilitate end user training.
  • All other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Salesforce System Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform and its capabilities.
  • Experience with user and license management in Salesforce.
  • Proficient in data management practices, including data imports and cleansing.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Salesforce certification is a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations with other systems.
  • Familiarity with API setup and management.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or support role.
