About the position

The Salesforce Tech Architect role at Wipro Limited involves designing scalable and high-performance solutions on the Salesforce platform. The position requires leading project teams, managing direct reports, and ensuring the delivery of quality technical architecture throughout the project lifecycle. The architect will collaborate with clients to gather requirements, evaluate solutions, and create comprehensive technical documentation while providing mentorship to developers.

Responsibilities

• Design quality, scalable, and performant solutions on the Salesforce platform.
• Conduct health checks and org assessments of the platform, providing recommendations on design and best practices.
• Lead and manage direct reports and project team members, holding them accountable for deliverables.
• Drive requirements gathering sessions with the client's technical team and discuss functional requirements with internal and client teams.
• Evaluate multiple feasible options for a solution and present them to the client, guiding them toward the most optimal solution.
• Responsible for the overall technical architecture and corresponding deliverables through a project's lifecycle.
• Collaborate with the team to understand project requirements and translate them into clear and comprehensive user stories.
• Develop proposed solutions to clients and prospects, articulating approach and strategy to meet project and business objectives.
• Create technical design documentation including context diagrams, sequence diagrams, and process flow diagrams.
• Demonstrate high competency in Apex, Java development, SFDX, and DevOps practices, providing expertise and mentorship to developers.
• Exceed customer expectations by providing high-quality solutions and service.
• Assist with pre-sales support and existing-customer sales opportunities to define optimal technical solutions.
• Understand the intended audiences for the solution and validate against objectives and success metrics.
• Lead the implementation of technical solutions according to the highest standards, influencing team members to meet those standards.
• Perform POCs to prove out business requirements.
• Contribute to Wipro's Salesforce Practice as required.

Requirements

• Expertise in Salesforce platform and ecosystem design.
• Experience in conducting health checks and org assessments.
• Strong leadership and management skills for direct reports and project teams.
• Proficient in gathering and discussing functional requirements with technical teams.
• Ability to evaluate and present multiple solution options to clients.
• Experience in creating technical design documentation.
• High competency in Apex, Java development, SFDX, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Salesforce Automotive Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
• Knowledge of Classic to Lightning migration and designing LWC.

Nice-to-haves

• Salesforce B2C Solution Architecture experience.
• Prior experience in pre-sales support and customer sales opportunities.
