About the position

As a Salesforce Technical Architect at Cognizant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative Salesforce solutions for clients. This position involves engineering, architecting, and implementing enterprise-standard solutions using Salesforce's full capabilities. You will lead delivery teams, manage client expectations, and ensure high-quality outcomes in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical consultation on various aspects of the product and solutions based on the customer's business requirements.
• Create, manage, and present an actionable BRD/FSD (Blueprint) that aligns a customer's technical business needs to that of the Salesforce Solutions.
• Design and architect solutions and oversee the development for large-scale customers.
• Hands-on development of POCs/features.
• Analyze existing systems and develop customized Salesforce solutions using Apex, Apex Triggers, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
• Create and manage Salesforce objects, fields, workflows, Salesforce Flows, process builders, validation rules, and other configuration tasks.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems using REST and SOAP APIs, web services, and middleware tools.
• Stay up to date with Salesforce releases, new features, and industry trends to propose innovative solutions and improvements.
• Assist in data migration and data cleansing activities, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Salesforce-related issues and user inquiries.
• Perform unit testing, system testing, and bug fixing to ensure the quality and stability of developed solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain coding best practices and standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of Salesforce experience (hands-on experience).
• Experience as a Salesforce Technical Architect handling customer expectations.
• Experience in solution designing and problem-solving.
• Proficiency in developing customized Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
• Experience with Salesforce objects, fields, workflows, and configuration tasks.
• Experience in developing integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, web services, and middleware tools.
• Familiarity with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and DocuSign integration.
• Basic understanding of Vlocity modules (OmniStudio components).
