About the position

The Salesforce Technical Architect role is a contract position requiring extensive experience in Salesforce and CRM applications. The architect will oversee ongoing initiatives related to Salesforce, ensuring quality standards in design and construction while providing strategic direction and architecture design for new teams. The position demands a hands-on approach to support various teams within the Service Ops portfolio, leveraging a deep understanding of business processes to propose effective solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight to ongoing initiatives related to Salesforce.
  • Support new and start-up engagements by working with different teams within the Service Ops portfolio.
  • Set strategic direction and architecture design for new teams.
  • Ensure design and construction meet quality standards and that testing and operational readiness tasks are conducted effectively.
  • Function as a point of escalation between business customers and maintenance teams, as well as with technical operations and architecture teams.
  • Make recommendations and propose technical/non-technical solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Work effectively within IT, various vendors, and business teams to develop solutions that meet technology standards and business needs.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Salesforce and CRM applications.
  • Salesforce Certified Architect (any stream) preferred.
  • Sales Cloud or Service Cloud Certified Consultant and Salesforce Certified Platform Developer required.
  • More than 5 years of experience in Salesforce platform functionalities with cross-functional experience in complex Salesforce CRM implementations.
  • Experience in implementation of Salesforce.com product suite including Lighting Connect, Force.com, Wave Analytics, Service/Sales/Marketing/HR Clouds, Communities, and App Exchange.
  • Experience using release management and continuous integration tools such as GitHub and Copado.
  • Familiarity with integration architecture and database design for applications.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Information Management / Data Management.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and project management principles.
