About the position

The Salesforce Technical Architect at Capgemini is responsible for the technical design and delivery of Salesforce.com applications, serving as a technical thought leader within the Salesforce practice. This role requires extensive experience in Salesforce implementations, particularly in sales and service cloud environments, and involves significant customization using the force.com platform. The architect will collaborate with functional teams to blueprint technical designs, conduct code reviews, and ensure the delivery of fully functional technical solutions to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Design and Delivery of Salesforce.com applications.
  • Serve as a technical thought leader for the Capgemini Salesforce practice.
  • Collaborate with the functional team to blueprint the technical design for the Salesforce application, considering all functional, technical, non-functional, and integration needs.
  • Responsible for code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting during the project process.
  • Deliver a fully working technical solution to the project manager and client at the end of the test phase.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience on the Salesforce platform and implementation experience.
  • Handled a minimum of 8-10 implementations around sales and service cloud for large enterprises with significant customizations using the force.com platform.
  • Deep knowledge of force.com technical platform including apex, triggers, batch Apex, and Lightning component framework.
  • Minimum 3.5 years of lightning implementation experience.
  • Good knowledge of Salesforce recommended best practices around design and development.
  • Possess at least one developer certification.
  • Extensive experience working in an onsite/offshore model.
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented development and design, experience in using design patterns, and ability to write clean, well-refactored maintainable code.
  • Experience in integrating SFDC with SAP, Oracle, and/or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Experience using GIT and VS CODE in the DEV OPS process.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience on Salesforce1 and Salesforce mobile.
  • Knowledge of advanced lightning components and Chatter API.
