The Salesforce Technical Architect will own the complete Salesforce Service Cloud Solution and Technical Architecture. This role requires a candidate with a strong mix of CRM processes, particularly in architecture design and implementation. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting technical discussions and workshops, as well as defining complete solution architecture. The architect will lead the team throughout the design, development, launch, and support of Salesforce solutions, ensuring that all aspects of the architecture are well-integrated and functional. In this position, the architect will develop visually rich and professional conceptual design documents that cater to varying audiences, from business stakeholders to technical teams. Collaboration with business and IT leaders is essential to drive the complete technical architecture, including data flow and integration between Salesforce and other enterprise solutions. The architect will be expected to offer creative ideas to meet business requirements, aiming to reduce the number of customizations while increasing automation within the Salesforce environment. The role also involves architecting and documenting solution designs for Salesforce solutions, transitioning these designs to development resources responsible for building the solutions. The architect will provide industry-leading technical expertise with Salesforce, helping to resolve and mitigate technical and architectural issues as they arise. Additionally, the architect will develop detailed configuration specifications documentation for use by the technical team and manage customer communications, conflicts, and negotiations related to overall architecture design. The architect will also be responsible for developing Proof of Concept (POC) for specific architecture and integration concepts, guiding customers through solution deployment. Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with interpersonal and presentation skills, are crucial for success in this role. Proven experience with the configuration and administration of Salesforce Service Cloud is required, as well as the ability to create technical requirements that inform Salesforce solution design. The architect will assist technical leads in performing hands-on solution design, architecture roadmaps, prototyping, and development tasks as needed to support current and new projects. The role requires the capability to execute independent POCs to be transitioned to the scrum team for development, as well as planning and monitoring technical consideration activities of the project. The architect will perform health checks for each organization, assess configurations, customizations, and security, and prepare a Salesforce Config workbook detailing these aspects. Support for the Project Manager in defining the overall solution and strategy is also part of the responsibilities.
