About the position

We are looking for a Salesforce Technical Architect to lead the architectural design and framework for our large-scale projects. This position will be full-time and hybrid in Newark, DE. As a Salesforce Technical Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing critical architecture solutions that support the business requirements and align with the company's strategic direction. You will lead Salesforce application architecture and development efforts, providing technical leadership in Salesforce projects from conception to completion. Your expertise will be essential in evaluating existing application architecture and recommending improvements to enhance performance and scalability. In this role, you will oversee the Salesforce Administration, ensuring that best practices are followed throughout the organization. Collaboration with stakeholders will be key, as you will determine how Salesforce solutions can best support business goals. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a secure, scalable, and performant Salesforce architecture, while also providing guidance and mentorship to the development team to ensure the adoption of architectural standards. Staying up-to-date with Salesforce features, best practices, and implementation methodologies will be vital to your success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement critical architecture solutions that support the business requirements and align with the company's strategic direction.
• Lead Salesforce application architecture and development efforts.
• Provide technical leadership in Salesforce projects from conception to completion.
• Evaluate existing application architecture and recommend improvements.
• Oversee the Salesforce Administration, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to determine how Salesforce solutions can best support business goals.
• Develop and maintain a secure, scalable, and performant Salesforce architecture.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to the development team, ensuring the adoption of architectural standards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Salesforce features, best practices, and implementation methodologies.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Application Architect.
• At least 4 years of experience in Salesforce Administration.
• Proven application architect experience for a minimum of 4 years.
• Demonstrated experience in architectural design and framework for large projects or organizations.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality.
• Salesforce certifications preferred (e.g., Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Salesforce Certified Application Architect, Salesforce Certified System Architect).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and with people at various levels within an organization.
• B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related field, or equivalent experience.
