About the position

The Salesforce Technical Architect plays a crucial role in defining and ensuring a comprehensive view across Business, Information, Systems, and Technology. This position goes beyond merely designing Salesforce as an IT system; it focuses on delivering business change supported by Salesforce. The Technical Architect is expected to have deep business and industry expertise, familiarity with industry standards, and the ability to engage at the boardroom and senior management level.

Responsibilities

  • Define services from a business perspective.
  • Design and implement Salesforce solutions that drive business change.
  • Manage offshore development resources in areas such as configuration, customization, data migration, and integration.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide solutions.
  • Utilize formal delivery methodologies and Agile practices in project execution.
  • Conduct hands-on design, prototyping, development, configurations, and testing activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 to 8 years' experience in successful software project implementations.
  • Strong technical background with analytical and problem-solving skills in the solutions space.
  • Technical and functional expertise in Salesforce.
  • Experience with salesforce.com and related technologies.
  • Familiarity with web, database, and object-oriented software technologies.
  • Experience in hands-on design, prototyping, development, configurations, and testing.
  • Experience managing offshore development resources.
  • Knowledge of formal delivery methodologies and Agile practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Significant consulting/client-facing background.
  • Outstanding teamwork and team lead skills.
