About the position

Our large, FINTECH client is currently seeking a Salesforce Technical Architect for a 1+ year contract position based in Malvern, PA. This role is hybrid, allowing for a mix of remote and on-site work. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience working within the Salesforce ecosystem, with a strong preference for those who have already served in a Salesforce Architect role and have experience leading a team of developers. The candidate should be very comfortable working with stakeholders to identify problem areas and propose effective solutions. The Salesforce Technical Architect will be responsible for designing advanced solutions on the Salesforce platform, including Financial Services Cloud (FSC) and Experience Cloud, among others. The role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce systems, including Sales and Service Clouds, custom objects, fields, flows, and the latest products like Data Cloud. Additionally, the architect will have experience in designing and implementing seamless API integrations between Salesforce and other applications, utilizing tools such as Mulesoft, Boomi, or similar technologies. Certifications are essential for this role, with a preference for candidates holding certifications such as Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, System Architect, Application Architect, Integration Architect, and more. The architect will strive towards best practices and high levels of code quality, demonstrating a proactive attitude towards Salesforce enhancements and additional features, functionalities, and products. Furthermore, the architect will lead large-scale projects from a system and solution design standpoint and guide developers and admins in best practices and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design advanced solutions on Salesforce Platform including FSC, Experience Cloud, and more.
  • Work with integrated applications such as Boomi (to legacy system), DocuSign, and Candid.
  • Strive towards best practices and high levels of code quality.
  • Demonstrate a proactive attitude to Salesforce enhancements and additional features/functionalities/products.
  • Lead large scale projects from a system and solution design standpoint.
  • Guide developers and admins in best practices and solutions.

Requirements

  • 10+ years working in the Salesforce Ecosystem.
  • Experience serving in a Salesforce Architect role and leading a team of developers.
  • Very comfortable working with stakeholders to understand problem areas and solutions.
  • Experience as a Salesforce Developer (admin experience preferred).
  • Understanding of Salesforce system including Sales and Service Clouds, custom objects, fields, flows, etc.
  • Experience with new products like Data Cloud.
  • Designed and implemented seamless API integrations between Salesforce and other applications utilizing Mulesoft, Boomi, or similar.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications such as Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, System Architect, Application Architect, Integration Architect, and more preferred.
