About the position

The Salesforce Technical Architect at Blue Peak Group LLC is responsible for designing and documenting technology solutions that align with business objectives. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and strong communication skills to effectively gather requirements, evaluate technologies, and provide guidance to development teams. The architect will ensure that solutions meet performance, scalability, and security standards while actively seeking opportunities for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Define solution architecture and document the overall technology solutions.
• Gather requirements by collaborating with stakeholders including business project managers and end-users.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and platforms for the solution.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to development teams during implementation.
• Ensure the technology solution meets performance, scalability, and security standards.
• Identify potential risks and issues related to the solution and mitigate them.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the technology solution and its components.
• Supervise and assist with database design, configuration, and integration mapping.
• Develop proof of concepts to validate new architecture and solutions.
• Document solution designs and maintain architectural standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in software development, systems engineering, or business analyst role.
• 5 years of strong operational experience with Salesforce.com preferred.
• Strong knowledge of various technologies, platforms, and architectural patterns.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with middleware solutions like Kafka and MuleSoft.
• Proficiency in writing SOQL statements and debugging skills.
• Good understanding of Salesforce security model.
• Experience in detailing business processes and wireframing system designs.
