Peraton is seeking a Salesforce Technical Architect to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Herndon, VA, and the qualified applicant will become part of Peraton's Department of State (DOS) Consular Systems Modernization (CSM) Program, for the Bureau of Consular Affairs (CA). This initiative aims to modernize and consolidate the operational environment under a common technology framework to better support the services provided to CA's customers. As a Salesforce Technical Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and providing solution recommendations and roadmaps for service modernizations using the Salesforce Platform, leveraging both out-of-box capabilities and customized solutions. In this role, you will work closely with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and directly with customers to architect Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements. You will be responsible for developing architecture models and blueprints that depict Salesforce solutions, along with service integrations for service modernizations. Additionally, you will document, maintain, and govern Salesforce solutions to ensure they meet business requirements throughout their respective lifecycles. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will need to interact with teams, customers, and project stakeholders, providing leadership throughout the project lifecycle. Your responsibilities will also include reviewing and correcting project/program direction, approach, and key artifacts to keep programs on track and ensure that solutions are extendable and maintainable going forward. You will contribute to a program vision while advising and articulating program/project strategies on enabling technologies, including the Salesforce Platform. It is critical to ensure that the system accurately meets the defined expectations of the business, which involves implementing proper testing and closely monitoring performance and security requirements in collaboration with development teams.
