About the position

The Salesforce Technical Architect at Pure Storage will be responsible for driving cross-functional projects in the Go-To Market area, providing end-to-end technical solutions using Salesforce and mentoring the Salesforce team. This role involves leading Salesforce architecture, designing application architecture, and shaping the platform's architectural vision and roadmap. The architect will also create proof of concepts, understand user stories, and improve communication and collaboration among teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Salesforce architecture and design application architecture.
  • Create and enhance application architecture and assist in shaping the platform architectural vision and roadmap plan.
  • Design and instruct the solution framework to the Salesforce development team.
  • Create POCs as needed to help stakeholders understand the proposed solution.
  • Understand user stories and provide accurate workload estimates.
  • Work in a consultative fashion to improve communication, collaboration, and alignment amongst teams.
  • Stay current on Salesforce releases, new features, and product roadmaps.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent.
  • 6+ years of experience with full Salesforce implementation (Sales Cloud).
  • Salesforce certified, ideally with either Application architect or System architect.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Experience with integrating Salesforce.com with 3rd party applications using SOAP/REST API, Middleware, etc.
  • Experience in working in SCRUM Team and good understanding of Agile Methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Salesforce Certified CPQ specialist is a plus.
  • Knowledge or certifications on Sales Cloud Consultant, CPQ, LWCs, Integrations, etc.
  • Experience in Contract and Subscription Management use cases such as Net New, Renewal, and Amendments is ideal.
