The Salesforce Technical Architect will join the internal Salesforce delivery team at Old Dominion Freight Line. As a senior member of the Salesforce team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing Salesforce solutions that meet the needs of our business. This role will work closely with IT and Business leadership to define the Salesforce roadmap, with a goal of improving Old Dominion's ability to exceed our customer's expectations. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise in Salesforce architecture, configuration, and customization, combined with strong communication skills. In this position, you will design scalable and high-performance Salesforce solutions that leverage Salesforce best practices and industry standards. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business processes, and translate them into technical solutions on the Salesforce platform. Leading technical design sessions, you will architect complex technical solutions using Salesforce and related technologies. Your hands-on technical implementation will focus on delivering functional solutions on the Salesforce platform, ensuring that technical solutions are comprehensive and consider end-to-end business processes. You will engage cross-functional teams on complete end-to-end integration solutions and provide guidance and mentorship to the Salesforce development team on technical and functional design aspects of Salesforce implementations. Evaluating new Salesforce releases and features, you will provide recommendations for process improvements while ensuring that Salesforce solutions align with security and data compliance standards.
