As a Salesforce Technical Architect, you will lead a global team in the design, development, launch, and support of Salesforce.com solutions. Your role will involve creating visually rich and professional conceptual design documents tailored to various audiences, ranging from business stakeholders to technical teams. You will collaborate closely with business and IT leaders to establish a comprehensive technical architecture that encompasses data flow and integration between Salesforce and other enterprise solutions. Your creative input will be crucial in meeting business requirements while minimizing customizations and enhancing automation within the Salesforce environment. In this position, you will architect and document solution designs for Salesforce solutions, ensuring a smooth transition of these designs to development resources responsible for implementation. You will provide industry-leading technical expertise in Salesforce, addressing and mitigating technical and architectural issues as they arise. Your responsibilities will also include developing detailed configuration specifications documentation for the technical team, managing customer communications, and navigating conflicts and negotiations related to overall architecture design. You will be tasked with developing Proof of Concept (POC) for specific architecture and integration concepts, guiding customers through the deployment of solutions. As a team player, you will leverage your excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with your interpersonal and presentation abilities, to foster collaboration and understanding among stakeholders. Your proven experience with the Configuration and Administration of Salesforce Service Cloud will be essential, as will your ability to create technical requirements that inform Salesforce solution design. Additionally, you will assist technical leads in hands-on solution design, architecture roadmaps, prototyping, and development tasks as needed to support ongoing and new projects. You will also be responsible for executing independent POCs to be transitioned to the scrum team for development, while planning and monitoring technical considerations throughout the project lifecycle. Your role will include performing health checks for each Salesforce org, assessing configurations, customizations, and security measures. You will prepare a Salesforce Config workbook detailing the customizations and configurations of each org, supporting the Project Manager in defining the overall solution and strategy, and documenting your findings and recommendations.
