About the position

As a Salesforce Technical Architect, you will play a pivotal role in leading the architectural design and framework for our large-scale projects. This position is full-time and offers a hybrid work environment, primarily based in Newark, DE. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in Salesforce ecosystems, demonstrating a deep understanding of the platform's capabilities and limitations. Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement critical architecture solutions that not only support business requirements but also align with the company's strategic direction. In this role, you will lead Salesforce application architecture and development efforts, providing technical leadership throughout the lifecycle of Salesforce projects, from conception to completion. You will evaluate existing application architecture and recommend improvements, ensuring that best practices are adhered to in Salesforce Administration. Collaboration with stakeholders will be essential as you determine how Salesforce solutions can best support business goals. Additionally, you will be tasked with developing and maintaining a secure, scalable, and performant Salesforce architecture. As a mentor, you will provide guidance to the development team, ensuring the adoption of architectural standards and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Salesforce features, best practices, and implementation methodologies. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to excellence in architectural design.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement critical architecture solutions that support business requirements and align with the company's strategic direction.
• Lead Salesforce application architecture and development efforts.
• Provide technical leadership in Salesforce projects from conception to completion.
• Evaluate existing application architecture and recommend improvements.
• Oversee the Salesforce Administration, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to determine how Salesforce solutions can best support business goals.
• Develop and maintain a secure, scalable, and performant Salesforce architecture.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to the development team, ensuring the adoption of architectural standards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Salesforce features, best practices, and implementation methodologies.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Application Architect.
• At least 4 years of experience in Salesforce Administration.
• Proven application architect experience for a minimum of 4 years.
• Demonstrated experience in architectural design and framework for large projects or organizations.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality.
• Salesforce certifications preferred (e.g., Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Salesforce Certified Application Architect, Salesforce Certified System Architect).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and with people at various levels within an organization.
• B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related field, or equivalent experience.
