About the position
The Salesforce Technical CPQ & Billing Architect role is a senior position focused on designing and implementing solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem, specifically related to CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) and Billing functionalities. The architect will leverage extensive experience in Salesforce to customize and integrate various Salesforce clouds and ensure seamless operations across the platform. This position requires strong technical skills, particularly in CPQ and Billing, as well as a deep understanding of integration technologies and application development.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Salesforce CPQ and Billing solutions.
- Customize Salesforce using Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning Web Components.
- Integrate Salesforce with other systems using REST and SOAP protocols.
- Develop and maintain application architecture for Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other industry solutions.
- Lead Agile delivery processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Provide expertise in CPQ product modeling and its impact on quoting and billing.
- Ensure compliance with integration strategies and platform best practices.
Requirements
- 12+ years of overall IT experience with a focus on solution design and architecture in large enterprises.
- At least 10 years of experience with Salesforce.com, including customization and integration.
- 7+ years of experience as a Salesforce Architect.
- Strong experience with Salesforce CPQ and Billing, including Tax and Subledger integrations.
- Proficiency in integration technologies such as REST and SOAP.
- Hands-on experience with APEX development and Salesforce APIs.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of Lightning components and component communication.
- Experience with jQuery, JavaScript, CSS, XML, HTML, and DHTML.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Community Cloud.
