About the position

The Salesforce Technical Enterprise Architect plays a crucial role in overseeing and enhancing the technology infrastructure of NMDP, a non-profit organization in the cellular therapy industry. This position is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with the organization's business goals, ensuring that systems are secure, reliable, and scalable. The architect collaborates with various stakeholders to identify business requirements and provide expert guidance on best practices in system architecture and development.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining the overall technology strategy and roadmap for the organization.
• Ensuring alignment between technology initiatives and business goals.
• Providing guidance and direction to technology teams on system architecture, design, and development best practices and standards.
• Identifying and managing risks associated with technology initiatives.
• Collaborating with a larger architectural team.
• Formulating technology strategies that harmonize with specific business requirements and the company's overall strategic vision.
• Leading the development of the organization's technology roadmap to advance primary objectives.
• Providing expert technical guidance and support to solution architects and development teams.
• Spearheading the integration of Salesforce orgs and other systems to streamline business processes.
• Providing technical leadership to development teams, ensuring best practices in coding, design patterns, and integrations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Salesforce Technical Architect or similar role.
• Strong understanding of web services (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML) and enterprise data transport technologies.
• Experience with system architecture, design, and development best practices.
• Ability to collaborate with business leaders and technology teams to align technology with business goals.
• Expertise in leading technology initiatives and managing associated risks.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the non-profit sector or healthcare industry.
• Familiarity with document management systems, Dialer, Outlook, Oracle EBS, and data lakes.
