About the position

The Salesforce UX/UI Developer at cyberThink Inc. is responsible for leveraging Salesforce's Public Sector Solutions data model to design and implement user experience and user interface solutions. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that the designs meet business requirements while adhering to industry standards and best practices. The developer will work on both desktop and mobile platforms, utilizing a low-code/no-code approach to create effective and responsive designs.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage Salesforce's Public Sector Solutions configuration and customization to build UX/UI design solutions.
  • Design, document, and review detailed design specifications and system specifications.
  • Participate in programming activities and projects following the SDLC process and agile practices.
  • Perform analysis, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and documentation.
  • Create UX/UI designs that interface with desktop and mobile platforms.
  • Create integrations using Salesforce APIs with other systems, including legacy systems.
  • Conduct code reviews and make necessary technical adjustments and recommendations.
  • Manage organization-wide defaults, configure permission sets, and establish role hierarchies.
  • Maintain the code base to ensure consistency with the overall application architecture.
  • Adhere to ADA access standards using WCAG AA knowledge.
  • Present and document design work to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Design wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and other design specification materials.
  • Work with Salesforce's declarative development tools, including Visualforce and Lightning Components.
  • Design custom user interfaces for specific business needs.
  • Ensure user interfaces are responsive across multiple devices.
  • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to implement user interface designs correctly.
  • Utilize design tools provided by the State of New Hampshire.
  • Perform basic platform configuration and data management tasks.
  • Produce estimates of time and resources for various tasks and review estimates from team members.
  • Work to meet coding standards and best practices, familiar with test-driven development.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce administrators on release cycles.

Requirements

  • Experience working with Salesforce's Public Sector Solutions data model.
  • Strong foundation in Salesforce Public Sector data model and 'Salesforce Public Sector First' approach.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce's declarative development tools, including Visualforce and Lightning Components.
  • Familiarity with front-end web development technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Experience in designing responsive user interfaces for various devices.
  • Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with ADA compliance and WCAG AA standards.
  • Knowledge of agile development practices.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce APIs for system integration.
