About the position
The Salon Business Partner (SBP) plays a crucial role in driving the growth and development of the local Stylist and Salon community by providing top-notch products, education, and innovation in the professional beauty industry. This position is responsible for achieving sales objectives within a designated territory through effective collaboration with salon owners and leveraging brand resources to enhance business relationships and market share.
Responsibilities
- Leverage OMNI channel support teams to develop salon relationships through tailored business plans.
- Conduct regular meetings with salon owners to understand their goals and provide tailored solutions.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Coordinate and promote education and training events for salon partners.
- Manage remote-order entry and other administrative duties effectively.
- Utilize digital platforms and social media to engage the local salon community.
Requirements
- High school degree required; bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
- Minimum of one year of outside sales experience or beauty industry experience with a focus on consultative selling.
- Demonstrated consultative and customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Highly organized, flexible, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
- Valid state driver's license and good driving record.
- Excellent computer skills, particularly with Windows-based systems and applications.
- Knowledge of Salesforce.com is a plus.
