About the position

The Salon Business Partner (SBP) plays a crucial role in driving the growth and development of the local Stylist and Salon community by providing top-notch products, education, and innovation in the professional beauty industry. This position is responsible for achieving sales objectives within a designated territory through effective collaboration with salon owners and leveraging brand resources to enhance business relationships and market share.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage OMNI channel support teams to develop salon relationships through tailored business plans.
  • Conduct regular meetings with salon owners to understand their goals and provide tailored solutions.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Coordinate and promote education and training events for salon partners.
  • Manage remote-order entry and other administrative duties effectively.
  • Utilize digital platforms and social media to engage the local salon community.

Requirements

  • High school degree required; bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of outside sales experience or beauty industry experience with a focus on consultative selling.
  • Demonstrated consultative and customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized, flexible, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
  • Valid state driver's license and good driving record.
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly with Windows-based systems and applications.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the beauty industry is preferred.
  • Understanding of social media marketing strategies.
