About the position
The Key Holder at Salt Life is a temporary position responsible for assisting in daily store operations, sales, and customer service. This role acts as a brand ambassador and assumes supervisory control in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager. The Key Holder is expected to achieve sales goals, provide excellent customer service, and maintain store operations effectively.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed store and personal sales goals.
- Demonstrate professionalism in communication and teamwork with customers and staff.
- Develop knowledge of Salt Life products and communicate effectively with customers.
- Take ownership of the sales floor in the absence of management, handling sales, merchandising, and customer issues.
- Assist with opening, closing, and daily operational procedures.
- Process point of sale transactions accurately and complete banking procedures when assigned.
- Participate in inventory management and merchandising activities.
- Communicate employee concerns to management and promote a positive work environment.
- Follow loss prevention policies and report any safety concerns.
Requirements
- 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience in a retail/customer environment (2 years preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and problem-solve effectively.
- Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

- Experience in a leadership role preferred.
