About the position
The Salvage Title Representative at American National is responsible for the acquisition and sale of vehicles deemed a total loss. This high-volume role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Familiarity with automobile titles and vehicle terminology is beneficial, and while claims adjusting experience is not required, it is helpful.
Responsibilities
- Contact clients to obtain legal documents/title paperwork to obtain ownership of the vehicle
- Coordinate the sale of the total losses
- Recover monies owed
- Manage activities in all states assigned
- Responsible for financial goals of the organization
- Adhere to all state laws and regulations pertaining to titling.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- One year minimum, professional work experience
- Ability to successfully operate in a deadline driven/accuracy focused environment
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to effectively plan, prioritize, and organize tasks
- Ability to navigate various computer systems that include Microsoft Office and internal and external applications
Nice-to-haves
- Total loss adjusting or claims handling experience is helpful, but not required
